Multicultural Christmas Programme for Seniors in Australia

Australia hosted a unique, multicultural Christmas celebration for 300 seniors on 15thDecember 2019. In spite of their diverse origins, ranging from Chinese, Serbian, Iranian, Spanish, Bhutanese, Turkish, Indian-Fijian and Caucasian ethnicities, the audience universally joined the holiday themed festivities.

The event included a taste of the array of cultures as well as traditional songs and dances. Special performances were also given by the SydwestOrganisationand Team Expansionwhich embodied the spirit of Christmas and gave joy to one and all. The event proved a continuing success, and the SSIO of Australia was awarded a certificate of appreciation for their effort in bringing the day to fruition.
